Broker's Comments
Boatshed London is pleased to bring this 52ft narrowboat to the market. Built in 1989 by David Piper.
Currently used as a constant-cruiser she is equipped for comfortable living with all the practicalities of staying on the move.
The bright living space has been freshly painted, there is plenty of headroom, and a solid fuel stove keeps the boat toasty and warm.
The galley is well equipped, with plenty of storage space, a recently installed hob, oven, and grill, with pressurized water supplied to the sink.
The bathroom has a charming butler sink, a larger than average shower cubicle and a composting toilet.
Moving aft, the cozy cabin has a comfortable double bed. There is a large mirrored wardrobe and cupboard, both finished in high-quality wood that brings a sumptuous feel to the cabin.
Three 105Ah domestic batteries, newly installed, are kept tip-top by the solar panel on the coachroof. Plus a separate starter battery for the engine. Hot water is via a calorifier heated by the engine. Two propane gas bottles are stored below the steering deck.
The engine started from cold, and has given the current owners no problems in the 2 years they have been cruising.
It may be a cliché, but in this case, it is true - "baby forces sail".
BSS valid until 2020. CRT Licence expires 07/19.
The boat can be viewed in the West London area: Brentford to Little Venice.
