Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 23m Dutch Barge for sale with London mooring at St Katharine's Dock. Totally refitted in 2009, this is an extremely well cared for barge that will give the new owners the dual benefit of a fantastic central London location combined with a boat that is perfectly set up for long term cruising. It was rebuilt with this in mind and has the most extensive list of equipment we've ever come across on a Dutch Barge. It is fitted with a bowthruster, joystick steering, generator, chart plotter, autopilot, depth and speed gauges along with a VHF. This boat was built to cruise.
All of this was fitted by the previous owner and the current owners have done a brilliant job of maintaining the barge and making it into a beautiful liveaboard home. It has been surveyed in 2021 and dry docked in 2022 so any major works don't need to be thought about for a few years.
Internally, there are two cabins with a twin bed aft cabin and large master suite at the bow. The open plan galley and living area are bright and spacious with a breakfast bar and multi fuel stove. The heads has a pump out loo, shower compartment and there is room for a washing machine and dryer.
On deck there is a large aft cockpit and well equipped upper helm, a superb place to entertain or just sit in the evening sun.
The mooring at St Katharine's Dock is transferable to a new owner (5% transfer fee).
