Broker's Comments
This is a first for me, a listing of a sail boat with a fully integrated electric drive system. This is not an electric outboard set up but an electric motor run off four large batteries charged by solar power, drive is through a conventional sail drive.
Use and range vary, an app based system gives data that ranges from long range at very low power output to about an hour at maximum output. So whether the motor is going to be used pottering up an estuary in silence or manoeuvring about in a marina, this is the ideal alternative to fossil fuels and a combustion engine.
Beautifully refurbished, this is one to see. With an additional self steer windvane, plus lots of equipment make this one to be considered.
Or you could just boast to your friends that you are saving the planet one internal combustion engine at a time!
