This Dutch barge is a true floating home, fully equipped for a comfortable life on board. Satellite TV, air conditioning, central heating with radiators, and a wood-burning stove in the kitchen-lounge area provide all the necessary amenities. There is also a washing/dryer machine and a water filtration system for canal water (with 4 filters and UV sterilisation) that can produce approximately 1000 litres per hour for domestic use (toilet, etc.). For drinking water, there is a "PurePro" reverse osmosis water purifier connected to the freshwater tank. The kitchen is well-equipped with a 220V fridge/freezer, Gas oven with electric fan, microwave, dishwasher, sink, 5 gas burners, and a spacious worktop.
The barge features a spacious wheelhouse and a large outdoor terrace accessible through a staircase at the bow of the boat. Ample storage space is available, with deep cupboards extending from the kitchen-lounge area to the bow of the boat. The upper wooden part of the wheelhouse is hinged and can be dismantled in order to pass under very low air draft passages.
Numerous glazed deck hatches bring in plenty of natural light to the forward section of the barge while ensuring privacy. The fixed windows are double glazed, as well as the two wooden glazed deck hatch, which contribute to its insulation.
Hot water and heating for the radiators are provided by a Kabola B17 diesel boiler (19.7KW). Hot water is also available from Immersion heater via Solar/Generator/Shore power.
Additionally, the headroom in this boat is remarkable. Even though I'am 1.85m tall, I felt comfortable everywhere, as if in a real house. The wheelhouse-lounge area has a headroom of 1.96m, while the highest point in the aft cabin reaches 1.87m, and the lowest point is 1.60m. In this aft cabin the bed size 160cm x 200cm. Moving towards the bow after the wheelhouse, there is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen-lounge area with a headroom of 2.02m, as well as the corridor leading to the forwards cabins. The first cabin on the port side offers a headroom of 2.06m, just like the shower located right after it. In this cabin the two bunk beds size 90cm x 190cm.
Finally, the owner's cabin at the bow has its own dedicated Daikin air conditioning unit and a headroom of 2.08m and a large wardrobe. In this cabin, the size of the bed is 150cm x 200cm. The sell also include two bicycles.
