Comentario del broker
When first approaching this vessel, the first thing that hit me was her size and presence. She has an imposing structure and looks to be a sturdy vessel for inland waterways and rivers.
Walking around her hull and superstructure, it can be clearly seen that the current owner has made some effort to begin a course of work on re painting the hull but this still needs to be completed.
She has a strong looking swim platform welded onto the transom of the vessel with a ladder again welded to the transom for access up onto the rear deck. Towering above the swim platform are two large davits which look to be heavy duty in their construction.
Once onboard the deck of the boat, what struck me was the large prominent coachroof and wheelhouse which both have large windows fitted throughout. The roof of the wheelhouse could be seen to be corroded in places and this will certainly need attention as the owner informs me that roof currently leaks and hence why the tarpaulin cover is presently in place.
Stepping into the wheelhouse it gives you a real impression for how much internal space this boat has. The wheelhouse has lovely big windows letting the light flood in and giving great all-round vision to the skipper.
Then, three steps down towards the bow brings you into into the saloon/galley area. Again, a feeling of lots of space and light with those large windows. The galley is very well proportioned with lots of work surfaces, with a gas oven with two burners. There is also a large fridge and freezer. She also benefits from an eye-catching log burning stove which is going to be a lovely feature on those cold winter days.
Making your way then towards the stern of the boat there is a heads compartment on the port side and a separate shower compartment on the starboard side. Both of a large size with good headroom as there is throughout the boat.
The rear cabin again benefits from the large windows which are a feature throughout the boat and has lots of undercounter storage.
In summing up this boat, I would say that she is a project and requires some investment and work. But she has the potential to make a very nice river and inland waterways cruiser. But, she would also make a fabulous, spacious liveaboard.
