Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 65ft x 12ft Wide Beam for sale.
This 2006 wide beam has three cabins and a great open plan living area that makes it an ideal family home, as it is currently used. With a coal fired aga providing the heating, this is a really nice place to be and the fit out is of a very high standard throughout. There is loads of storage in every room again making it suitable for a family.
There is one double cabin and two smaller single cabins, one with bunk beds in. The large bathroom has a bath with shower and electric heads which can be pumped out without moving the boat.
Currently located at Anderson's Wharf on the Limehouse Cut, the desirable Limehouse area has great restaurants, bars and pubs, with fast transport links into central London and Canary Wharf.
Please note that the purchase price is for the boat only and does not include the CRT mooring, which is not transferable with the boat. If after purchasing the boat the new owners wish to keep it at the current mooring, they will need to bid in a public auction to retain the mooring. The current owners also had to do this but had no problem in securing the mooring indefinitely after that. Current mooring fees are £9,000 p.a. Alternatively the boat could be taken to a different mooring, or is well set up for continuous cruising with large water and fuel tanks, a high output alternator and large solar panels.
The moorings are very private and there are only two other boats on the pontoon. There is mains water and electricity as well as landline phone and own pump out station. There is a supermarket within 3 minutes walk from the boat and also the owners inform me there are good schools and childcare within walking distance too.
Viewing is highly recommended.
