Boatshed London are delighted to offer this beautiful 50ft Wide Beam for sale with desirable residential mooring at Greenland Dock, SE London.
This is a 2016 Viking 50ft x 12ft and is presented in the same condition as it came out of the factory. The word "immaculate" gets bandied around in sales but it can be appropriately applied here. The owner has the boat professionally washed and polished every three months externally and the inside is similarly presented. Viking have a well deserved reputation for superior build quality over their rivals and it is very evident on this boat. The materials used are all of high quality and the layout maximises the space available.
Entering at the stern into the enclosed cockpit with Titan covers and seating area, this can be used as an external dining area when on the berth. Inside there is an open plan galley and living area. The galley is extremely well finished with high gloss grey units, light grey work tops and stainless steel splash backs. Equipped with fridge/freezer, a separate wine fridge, a Hotpoint tumble dryer and a Zanussi washing machine, as well as a Belling gas fan assisted double oven and hob, no expense has been spared on this important part of any home.
The bathroom has a large shower compartment and electric heads. The cabin is very large for a 50ft boat thanks to the custom bow that was designed especially for this boat. It means there is loads of storage and space for a full sized double bed which was a bespoke build for the owners and is included in the sale; it cost them £2,000 and looks great in situ on this boat.
This boat comes with all the furniture and fittings with it including the TV and sound system in the sitting room and the one in the bedroom. Total cost of all the additional extras is well over £10,000.
The residential mooring at Greenland Dock is fully transferable and the fees have been paid until March 2020 so the new owner can enjoy a free berth until then. Current mooring fees are roughly £7,500 per annum. The marina charge a 10% transfer fee (of the sale price). The marina has a great community spirit and is an extremely peaceful place to be with no major roads around it and the river just 30 seconds away.
