Here we have a very tidy example of the wonderful Stevens 1040 Dutch Steel Cruiser powered by a well running Ford 120HP diesel.
This boat is very well presented and belies her 33 year age and is a very comfortable place to be afloat either as a leisure vessel or a comfortable liveaboard.
She has shore power with battery charger, warm air heating and all her upholstery is undamaged and all infills are present.
The cabinetry wood work in the boat is very good, very light and bright and she has lots of storage aboard. She can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 cabins.
In the video I mistakenly mention that she has a shower - she actually has a pull out shower head at the basin but the boat does not have a draining shower tray in the heads as it was never specified by at the time of build. However, it would not be expensive to add a shower drain and sump if required as it's a large heads space.
She has great outside deck space with good guardrails and very good paint and the raised aft driving deck affords wonderful views all around. Her canopy is good and well fitting, She has a bow thruster and a full width bathing platform too.
She was last antifouled in late 2020 and had new anodes at that time.
2 x 130A leisure batteries have recently been renewed and the 30 Victron battery charge was fitted in late 2022. She has Webasto warm air heating and 240v immersion hot water systems fitted as well as engine heated water.
Her Boat Safety Certificate runs to March 2026 and her Broads toll is paid to April 2024.
