The Seamaster 30 was introduced at the London Boat Show in 1970 and was an instant success. 400 were produced from 1970 to 1981. Bounty Boats made some craft under the name "New Seamaster 30" and from 1984 a new Seamaster company offered the 30 as the Seamaster "Norther" 30.
The Seamaster 30 was also available without the aft cabin to special order.

Forward Cabin-
Two single berths with infill section, wardrobe and storage space.
Aft cabin-
this has been professionally converted from the original two single berths to a large double berth, with stowage underneath. Vanity unit to port with hot and cold taps, wardrobe, large cupboard, radio/stereo cassette player, 13 amp socket, shaver socket, 12 volt socket and electric fan.
Heads-
Par sea toilet (switchable to sea or holding tank) stainless steel wash hand basin with hot and cold taps, shower unit with curtain, shower tray has separate pump.
Dinette-
Rise and fall pillar table converts area to large double berth with stowage lockers under.
Galley-
Stainless steel sink with hot and cold taps from pressurised system, Flavel B700c cooker with 2 burners, grill and oven.
