Sagar were a well respected and sadly missed builder of quality replica Dutch barges. This appears to be a very well looked after example and had a new Beta engine fitted in 2015

Forward owners cabin with over 2m headroom and walk round double bed of 1.9m x 1.5m. Good storage space en suite shower radiator central heating and own A/C unit. Electric heads with access from both saloon and cabin making a hybrid ensuite cum day heads. Saloon with drip feed diesel stove to back up the radiator central heating. Independent A/C. All TV & video equipment remains on board. Well equipped galley with gas hob oven grill microwave, two fridges and a freezer. 1.97m headroom. Wheelhouse is very comfortable with space to seat 4 comfortably. With the opening fore & aft windscreens and both side doors open it is almost an open terrace deck! Add to this the 1.92m headroom and this makes for a very bright and convivial pilothouse. Well equipped helm for coastal cruising the portable computer and charts (GB and West Europe coast) are included in the sale. Finally the aft cabin with its double bed 1.9m x 1.2m indepandant A/C en suite shower & electric WC. 1.87m headroom Washing machine is located in engine room.

A modern comfortable ideal live aboard barge with the added advantage of a recent new engine. Sagar barges are a sought after commodity and I was impressed by the standard of love & care that had been taken of this one by our owner vendors. She has extensively cruised French waterways and also the Med. coast. Sold with just about everything being left on board for the new owners including computer navigation and two folding electric bicycles she is ready for new adventures on Europes canal and river system. Please note that the main “tower” computer seen in some saloon photos is not included in the sale.
