The Lindkvist family began as boatbuilders based in Finland in the 1920's, and continue today from the same town with the business now in the hands of the fourth generation.
The first of the Nord Star range was moulded in 1998 and the company's vision of merging hand-crafted quality boatbuilding with cutting edge technology has led to a thriving production line with worldwide distribution.
This particular model, the Nord Star 30 Patrol is a good example of that fusion: a rugged sturdy exterior with a stylish modern interior, smart and clean and an almost Tardis-like layout that gives you the feel of a much larger boat.
The walkaround design makes the deck feel safe and secure and having three companionways, midships both sides and aft, means moving around and shorthanded berthing is easy.
Like all Nord Star boats she was built to specification and in this case then adapted to suit a more cruising lifestyle with additional shelving and a luxurious feel with Alcantara upholstery in smart neutral colours.
The interior is light and bright, the saloon has great visibility all round and the full cockpit enclosure (with seating on the aft deck) gives additional space again when the weather isn't ideal.
With very low engine hours yet regular maintenance, she presents a very good opportunity to get on the water easily
