Since 2020 the boat has been stored in a hangar out of the water every winter.
Many improvements since the boat is in the hands of those current owners, all works have been done by a reputed professional and all bills available.
2020:

Forward double cabins have been turned into a single huge owner cabin with central double berth (140x2) and headroom of 1.93m.

NICOLS 1350 CONFORT for sale in France. Boatshed Bourgogne is pleased to offer this Inland waterways cruiser for sale, ex hire boat, in private hands since 2016 and professionally modified & maintained since.
Our current vendors (second private owners) have had the boat since 2020 and have maintained and improved her continuously. The forward double cabins were professionally converted in 2016 into a master cabin but have kept the one separated heads with washbasin and one separate shower with another wash basin for more comfort.
The saloon has acquired a cozy look yet kept the huge panoramic windows and glass doors to afford light and a feeling of space to the whole area. Finally moving aft are the two identical guest cabins each with shower and electric heads. Each cabin can be set up with twin beds or a huge double. There is a partition panel to separate the two cabins.
Our current owners have had a swim platform made to ease the access from a pontoon and to also enable leaving the electric bike stored easily.
Lots of outside deck space with the aft deck well protected by a huge sun awning, with access to and from the bathing platform, and steering position on the flybridge. The foredeck is accessed from the saloon door, and is equipped with a table, chairs and bench. All the furniture, wooden cupboard, chairs, all the crockery, pans, bedding, decoration, deck chairs all stay with the boat, the owner will only remove some decoration items (paintings, picture frames). He will also leave the electric bike and scooter. You will just have to bring your hand lugage.
Wherever you moor, you will always have an easy access to your boat with its four different doors. An ideal boat for a family to share some long cruises or a couple who want to be able to cruise comfortably with friends.
Our owner has improved the boat for his comfort with a new fridge, freezer, a new gas cooker, oven and grill, and he has also kept the maintenance of the engine, GE, air con tip top, all done by a professional including winter storage under a hangar.
Nicols boats may be considered a bit "quirky" but I think their novel designs really work and this is a practical and comfortable boat with three cabins and three separate outdoor deck areas to have fun, sunbath or sneak off to a quiet corner and enjoy a book!
An awful lot of inland waterway cruiser in just 13.5m. Also the new hull colour (pale green) distinguishes this boat from the rental boats in their Nicols blue.
