Boatshed London are pleased to offer this 55ft Narrowboat for sale with desirable residential mooring in Poplar Dock Marina, near Canary Wharf.
Built in 1994 by Liverpool Boats and surveyed in 2014 without any major problems, this boat would make an ideal liveaboard boat for an individual or couple.
The large cabin in the aft of the boat has loads of storage and a full size double bed. Forward of this is the bathroom with small bath and shower with a Thetford chemical loo.
The galley is well equipped and again, there is loads of storage here. The living area has plenty of space for a large sofa and the stove will make sure the boat is heated throughout the winter, backed up by the gas central heating.
This boat is priced to sell and with its residential mooring at Poplar Dock, it won't be around for long.
The marina itself is an increasingly popular location filled with community spirit and it is only 25 minutes from Central London. Blackwall DLR is 5 minutes away and Canary Wharf is about 12 minutes walk with its many shops and Jubilee line. Current mooring fees are £9,057 p.a. and there will be a 5% transfer fee for the new buyer to acquire the residential license. All the marina information can be found on the BWML website.
Pets are allowed at this marina and this boat is actually being sold with a ship's cat as the owner is moving abroad and can't take Molly with her. This is negotiable though.
