Boatshed London are delighted to offer this unique 42ft Narrowboat for sale with London residential mooring. Built in 1998 by Heritage Boat Builders but completely refitted and extended in 2012, the boat has been kitted out to a really high standard throughout and would make a superb liveaboard boat for an individual or couple.
The boat has a unique studio layout that is not like any other narrowboat on the market with a good sized bathroom to port and then an open plan layout that provides a bright and airy living space. The double bed is extendable and again, it is almost unique to find a narrowboat that has a bed that runs across the boat.
This boat also has a brilliant semi-permanent wheelhouse with removable covers to provide a flexible outdoor space. It will make a great area for entertaining in the summer too.
The Izusu 33HP engine provides plenty of grunt on the water and all the electrical elements have been fitted to a very high standard.
With a residential mooring at Poplar Dock, near Canary Wharf, this boat is ideally located for someone working there or in central London. The Jubilee line is 12 mins away and Blackwall DLR only 5 minutes from the marina. Current mooring fees are £7,200 p.a. and the mooring can be transferred on payment of 5% Transfer Fee to the marina.
