Broker's Comments
This 1978 42' Narrowboat is now for sale with London residential mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16. This cosy boat has been cleverly upgraded by the current owner in the six years that they have owned it and would make a comfortable liveaboard or pied-a-terre for an individual or couple.
Repainted in 2017 and with the new covers installed at the same time, including the roof-mounted frame and cover which helps with insulation in winter and keeping it cool in summer.
The boat is heated by a multi-fuel stove but there is currently no hot water. The gas boiler in the galley is still in place and would be simple to reconnect.
South Dock Marina is now the most popular choice for liveaboards looking for affordable marina mooring fees as the prices have remained low compared to other marinas. Current mooring fees for this boat are £6,100 per annum approx. There is a 10% (of the sale price) mooring transfer fee payable to the marina.

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
