Boatshed Lancashire are pleased to offer for sale this 1998 (estimated) 42ft Narrowboat. The hull builder is unknown.
When the owner bought the boat 12 years ago, he stripped out the boat and re-fitted her. The floor was removed and the internal hull was rubbed down and painted with anti rust paint and a new floor fitted. The floor is 18mm marine ply with Kingspan insulation underneath and on top of that is 18mm tongue and groove solid oak wood.
The boat was re-painted in the summer of 2022 and she was blacked 3 years ago. The BSC runs until 12/07/2025.
The small gated marina mooring is available with this boat and is around £100 a month, subject to separate negotiations with the marina.
As you come down the rear companionway steps you arrive in the double bedroom with storage under the bed and various bits of storage around the steps. There is a small TV on the wall. There is a full length storage cupboard as you move forward with removable shelving which can also act as a wardrobe.
Next you arrive in the shower room with a full size shower, Cassette toilet with spare cassette and a small wash basin with vanity unit below.
Then you come into the open-plan saloon/galley area with a solid fuel burner, a fitted folding dining table and two chairs, 2 x upholstered comfortable chairs and a TV. The galley is nicely apportioned with a decent amount of storage and a nice Belfast sink with a removable solid wood cover. The worktops are solid wood and there is also a full size cooker and a 3 way fridge/freezer that runs off mains, gas or 12v.
There is access out into the cratch area with another fold down table and bench seating either side with storage underneath. The forward exterior gas locker contains 3 bottles. There is a gas shut off valve on the port side and a gas shut off for the fridge on the starboard side.
