Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 28ft Motor cruiser houseboat for sale with transferable residential mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16.
This steel hulled boat was never designed as a liveaboard but it is filled with light thanks to its large windows and benefits from lower mooring fees thanks to its LOA of 28'. The wheelhouse can be used as an office/living area and down below there is a dining area opposite the galley leading into the forward cabin with double berth.
The boat is equipped with twin diesel 140hp engines so if you had your eye on any cruising, it would be more capable than a narrowboat or barge.
The current owners have spent the last two years stripping the steel back to bare metal and repairing any parts that required it. The hull was coated in 2 pack epoxy and is in good condition now for the next owner.
The boat is sold with a transferable mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16. This is now London's most popular marina with its lower mooring fees than neighbouring basins and has a vibrant community feel that means any boat in there is in high demand. Current mooring fees are approx £425 per month. There is a 10% transfer fee (of the sale price) payable to the marina.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
