Boarding is midship with access to the main cabin via the starboard door at the helm station. The exterior teak decks, brightwork, cabin painting and flybridge all appear to be in very good to excellent condition. This boat is washed monthly and has been professionally maintained by a private company for her entire life to ensure all systems are in top running condition.
The flybridge helm is fully equipped with Raymarin electronics and has seating for approximately 4 – 6. The Magma barbeque, a large cooler, and the Broan trash compactor are also located on the flybridge.
Just inside the main cabin door is the lower helm; fully equipped with newer Raymarine electronics, Morse electronic controls and a drop down TV above the helm. Across, on the port, is the linear galley equipped with a Pacific by Dickinson diesel stove and oven, large sink, custom Sea Freeze refrigerator and a custom Sea Freeze freezer (located under the starboard settee).
Aft of the galley, the salon area has an L-shaped settee with a large table and another smaller settee on the port.
The main private stateroom is aft, down a couple of steps. The head compartment includes a vacuflush toilet, sink, storage and shower. A full/queen bunk is to starboard; port is a single bunk and a large pullout table which could easily be set up as a desk. There is also a large area for hanging or storing items. Access to the boat deck is via a hatch and steps aft.
Forward of the helm and galley is the second cabin with a v-berth, hanging and storage area, and head compartment with a vacuflush toilet and sink.
She may be of an older vintage but she has class inside and out!

4 VIRTUAL TOURS - 1 VIDEO - 125 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS & BROKER'S COMMENTS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS 1973 GRAND BANKS 36 CLASSIC!
Grand Banks of this era are truly classics and this is a rare opportunity to own a1973 Grand Banks 36 Classic! She has had only one owner and has been professionally maintained her entire life and currently with the same company for the past 15 years. She has been moored in the same covered slip since new and which is grandfathered and transferable to the new owner.
A binder of receipts dated December 2004 to October 2022 details approximately $1.2 million in upgrades and maintenance. There are also summaries of work completed on the major systems available to review. Wiring throughout the boat and electronics have been upgraded, planks and decking monitored and replaced as needed throughout its life, engine and fuel tank repairs are all documented. Cosmetically, receipts are included for exterior painting, repainting, brightwork detail, remodel of the aft cabin and interior restorations.
There are no signs of water damage from leaks, the boat has no objectionable odors. She is generally in very nice condition for her age.
She is a true classic yet fully equipped with modern comforts and ready to take you on adventures. A longer keel and deep bow provide stability. She has two dinghies: an Achilles RIB with an electric 15hp 4-stoke Yamaha mounted with a SeaWise Electric davit on the swim step and a custom Gig Harbor Boatworks sailing dinghy on the deck easily deployed with a Roskelley – Olsson arm davit. Kayak cradles on either side of the house, a barbeque on the flybridge and plenty of seating to enjoy cruising or a sunset.
Her interior wood is beautifully maintained. This is a classic layout with style and with upgrades to enhance the main cabin. The owner and Captain describe her as "exceptional" and expect she will pass the most rigorous survey.
She is stylish with graceful lines; functional and easy to manage. Whether cruising in the nearby waters or venturing North up the Inside Passage, you are bound to draw attention in this beauty!
