Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 25m Dutch Barge for sale with London residential mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16.
This characterful barge has been in the same ownership for 27 years and been lovingly cared for. In 2020, she was dry docked for extensive works to the hull which will minimise maintenance costs for the next owner going forward.
Laid out with two cabins, a large living area and separate galley/diner in the stern quarters, there is plenty of scope for the new owners to update the current interior or even look to move the galley forwards to have an open plan living space. There is lots of light from the large hatches in the roof and plenty of warmth from the diesel central heating and multi fuel stove.
The barge has a lovely mooring on the head of a hammerhead so has open views to the starboard side out across the marina, a great spot. The residential mooring is fully transferable with the barge and because of the length of time she has been in current ownership, there is NO 10% transfer fee on top. Current mooring fees are roughly £10,500 per annum.
