This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to own an incredibly spacious Dutch Barge with full transferable residential mooring in the Hampton Court area.
The moment I stepped on the boat I was amazed by the space and light in the upper deck. It's a great place to spend time with views out across the river. On the lower deck there is a spacious kitchen, one large master bedroom, two further doubles, a beautifully fitted bathroom and a second toilet with wash hand basin.
Since the owners purchased her considerable work has been carried out both externally and internally, she will be warm in the winter with an efficient oil fire boiler and double glazed windows.
It is a short walk to the restaurants, cafes and shops in East Molesey. This is a very sought after area with high property prices and is on the London Waterloo train line. From a morning coffee overlooking the river to watching the sun go down from the front deck perhaps with a glass of wine. If you want to live on the river this is a perfect location.
Current mooring fees are £3,300 per quarter and there is a 6% transfer fee for the residential license. The mooring does not allow pets.
