The Perkins diesel engine is in good running order, and there are two large diesel fuel tanks.
Heating and hot water are provided by a Kabola diesel-fired combination boiler, with radiators throughout the barge giving more than enough heat to keep it cosy on even the coldest winter nights.

Boatshed London are delighted to offer this traditional 22m Dutch barge for sale with residential mooring at Poplar Dock, E14. She was built in 1907 as a grain barge and has been creatively converted to a luxury cruising/live-aboard barge.
With an open plan living area and kitchen that is flooded with natural light from the large skylights, this barge offers a flexible and modern space that a new owner can put their stamp on. There is one characterful cabin in the stern and a large bathroom with full sized bath.
The barge had extensive work done in April 2014 as it was lifted out and surveyed. The hull was painted and repair work done to the rudder adding up to a boat that does not require any more significant maintenance until 2018.
Poplar Dock is a thriving boating community 10 mins from Canary Wharf making this an ideal base for someone working there or in central London. Poplar DLR is 5 mins away giving direct access to the City and the Jubilee line in Canary Wharf is also readily accessible.
The marina itself has shower and laundry facilities for residents as well as an onsite security guard and CCTV. Parking is also available.
Current mooring fees are £9,800 p.a. and the new owner will need to pay a 5% transfer fee to the marina operators to transfer the residential license.
