Comentario del broker
This 40ft Dutch Barge styled boat was built over near Doncaster and fitted out by the original owner. She has a Vee hull at the bow. The present lady owner has had her since 2014 but had to move off 8 months ago for medical reasons.
The boat is a real project and in reality probably wants a complete interior refurbishment. The floors need replacing as they are rotten in places, she will need blacking and a new exterior paint job, the shower is leaking, the pump on the fire that pumps to the central heating radiator in the aft cabin needs replacing and much more.
She feels quite spacious considering she is only 40ft but the aft cabin and saloon diner are a good sized space, and there is plenty of room in the shower compartment.
The cockpit is around 5'10' headroom so anybody over 6' would need a cockpit seat when sailing. The engine runs well and has 2 fuels tanks, one for the engine and one for the diesel fired bubble heater and was serviced in May 2019.
This boat has lots of potential as the hull and engine are only 14 years old and she has most of what you will need electronically but she will require quite a lot of money spending on her, hence the price.
As yet, she has never been surveyed.
