The engine was actually taken out for an overhaul in 2006. Engine was last serviced in 2009. Note the boat is out of the water having the rest of her bright work attended to. She has not been sailed much since 2009.

This Stella 26 has been extensively refurbished to a high standard. Blue painted clinker hull. Teak laid decks and varnished, new deck (marine ply) with a teak top was fitted in 2002. New rudder 2002, New stainless steel chainplate and keel bolts 2002, Keel was rebedded and additional metal floors were fitted between the timbers too. All the bulkheads have been renewed. Long keel, with cast iron ballast.

The Stella 26 is a very popular Kim Holman design which has proved to be a very successful little racer particularly with the Medway river where her shoal draft proves to be advantageous. Stella 26's are very popular boats. This particular Stella has been owned by her current owners for 10 years and has been kept in good condition. She has been the subject of extensive refurbishment which has been carried out to a high standard, Newly replaced equipment such as her boom in 2006 and her mast most recently in 2012, top deck replacement, engine overhaul etc. makes this sailing yacht great value for money for a new time sailor.
