This Motor Cruiser has a pair of 106hp Volvo Penta MD32 .
The boat has had the same owner for 20 years.
The engine appeared to be without oil leaks and the bilge is clean and dry.

Continuing down the companionway you will find a large specious saloon with a well equipped gallery. 2 burner gas cooker, sink , microwave, oven, a large domestic fridge/freezer and plenty of storage. The aft cabin with 1.75m headroom and twin beds 2m x1m. The heads have a manual WC and hot water shower.
Forward cabin with 1.75 headroom and Vbirth bed 1.9m x 2.3m.

Boatshed Midi Canals are pleased to offer for sale this Motor Cruiser Cytra 38 Ambassador in France. She has been and would continue to be a low cost yet, comfortable home on the Canal du Midi. Owned by the same owners for the last 20 years, she was used as a live aboard for a while.
The boat dates from 1977, built in a German yard.
She is a heavy construction, GRP hull with a GRP sheathed wooden superstructure. There are many way to improve this boat but in general terms she is solid, dry, comfortable and spacious. There is a great deal of storage lockers around the boat.
This boat is fairly autonomous as she benefits from a 2.8kw generator, solar power, and also has a built in canal water filtration system providing water to the onboard washing machine, shower, galley sink if needed.
There is a very nice and fairly recent canopy cover over the entire aft deck/cockpit.
This boat is sensibly price and the owner has realistic expectation.
