Volvo Penta's marinised 190-hp GL version is BA two-barrel carburettor, it's both quiet and virtually vibration-free, thanks to a centre-mounted balance shaft. The team at BoatTEST has tested this engine in at least seven boats, 18 to 23 feet, including a pontoon boat, and found it to provide very consistent results. If you need a reliable, no-frills sterndrive in this horsepower range, it's one you should consider.

This example is in great condition throughout, with a recently polished hull and immaculate interior leather, she certainly looks great on the water. A perfect fast starter motor boat and an ideal family fun sports boat.
