Engine was installed new in 2018. Seller reports today this has less than 100 hours on it. The outdrive was rebuilt in 2018 as well. Cruise speed, top speed, fuel consumption all are estimates and have never been recorded. This is a carbureted engine.

The Maxum 2500 is a well-regarded and affordable boat for family cruising. With express cruiser styling and accommodations it provides a comfortable platform for weekend cruises or towing the kids around on floaty toys.

The Maxum 2500 has a large cockpit with comfortable seating for about six people, although the boat is rated for eight passengers. A lounger on the port side has a backrest that swings forward for seating at the cockpit table. A bar sink with small table complements this entertainment area. A transom shower is located near the transom door to the swim platform. The helm seating converts to a stand-up bolster for good visibility. Entering the saloon cabin there is a modest galley to port which provides an electric single burner cooktop, microwave and fridge. Across from the galley is a head with stand-up shower. Behind the companionway steps is an athwartship berth under the cockpit large enough to sleep two. Forward in the main cabin is a convertible table and settees which makes another double berth. There is lots of storage under the seating.

Anchor is a Fortress. Anchor chain and rode length are estimates. There is a nice bimini cover stored inside the interior of this boat. It is not mounted due to the boat being stored under a low roof.

Repowered in 2018 with a Mercruiser 350, the outdrive was rebuilt at that time and a heavy duty coupler added to connect the outdrive to the engine. This Express Cruiser has been part of a rental fleet and is now offered for sale. It sleeps four with a convertible forward cabin and athwartship berth under the cockpit.
This is a nice upgrade from a boat with no head or sleeping room for a family wanting a few more creature comforts than an open bow or cuddy cabin runabout can offer. It features a full stand-up head with shower and sleeping for four adults. The helm and cockpit areas are nicely appointed for outdoor fun
There is no trailer with this boat however used trailers can often be found on Craigslist.
