Comentario del broker
This is a proper little ship. Aesthetically very pretty with spacious and airy accommodation and of a design which is renowned for seakeeping, she would be equally at home cruising offshore or as a liveaboard with space out of proportion to her modest 'marina metres'.
Built in the Far East to a high standard, the current co-owners have spent their year of ownership sensibly refitting her to update/restore her systems and equipment. After all that hard work, they have made the tough decision to sell and return to the world of sticks and rags.
Her twin 200hp volvos have been overhauled and start on the button, they push her along serenely at an economical cruise of 8 knots and a top speed of 12 knots if you are in a hurry. Mechanically she has also had a powerful new Vetus bow thruster fitted, making her a doddle to berth. Steering is by robust cables and hydraulic trim tabs keep things on the level.
She has a safe and practical deck layout with high bulwarks and the quarterdeck gives a fantastic 'patio' for sundowners. Internally, the fore-cabin has an ample double berth, the heads has room to swing many cats and the open plan saloon/galley area with large windows is a great living area. During the last year, the galley worktop has been professionally restored and she has sparkling new varnish, head-linings, window surrounds and many other improvements and refurbishment.
As a point of interest, this Island Gypsy was used in her early life as a support boat for the survey and archaeological investigation of the famous Mary Rose wreck site.
This is a real classic and if you want to cruise in style and comfort then come and take a look, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
