The Hunter 410 was designed as an offshore cruising model in a departure from the company's primary focus on coastal cruisers. The 410 presents a sleeker, lower profile than previous designs but still incorporates more than ample space within. The company states that the lay-up process and schedule are classified by the International Marine Certification Institute as a Category A yacht suitable for “unlimited offshore use.”
Construction is solid FRP laminate below the waterline including an initial application of vinylester resin for blister resistance. The topsides are balsa cored for stiffness and lower weight. Both solid and marine plywood cored laminates form the deck and cabin structure. Marine plywood bulkheads are used inside as are fiberglass pans for stability which are connected to the hull. Aluminum backing plates for external connections are integrated into the hull layup schedule.
The boat features the Hunter wing keel design for increased hydrodynamic lift and efficiency.

This is a spacious cruising sailboat well-suited for voyaging, charter, and live-aboard uses.
Enter the interior from the aft cockpit companionway ladder. The engine compartment is located behind the removable ladder and features excellent maintenance access with all cover panels removed.
The galley is to starboard in an L-shaped layout that includes a Force 10 three burner propane stove with oven, an Adler Barbour 12 VDC compressor driven top-loading freezer plus a top and front loading refrigerator. A double SS sink and Origo microwave complete the equipment.
To port is a marine head compartment with separate shower stall. This compartment can be accessed from the main cabin or the double aft cabin. A six gallon hot water tank provides domestic hot water using either 120 VAC or engine heat exchanger heating sources.
Doors port and starboard lead to the aft cabin which features an athwartship queen sized berth, a hanging locker, upholstered seat, and ample storage in drawers and lockers. New blue upholstery is installed here and throughout the boat. Sunbrella Heritage Sky upholstery was installed Oct 15, 2024 and has seen virtually no use.
To forward, the main cabin features a large u-shaped settee with table to starboard that converts to a double berth. To port is a settee that converts to a single berth. Adjacent to this is a navigation station and chart table.
Forward from the main salon is a private double cabin. This includes a private marine head compartment toward the bow, a pullman-style double berth to starboard, and a hanging locker and upholstered seat to port. Note: the marine toilet has been removed and the space is currently used for storage.
The interior features a Marine Air Systems reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning system using two units (forward and aft) with independent controls. Because this system is 120 VAC powered either shore power, a generator, or an adequate battery bank based inverter system must be used. The interior features exceptional ventilation through numerous opening ports and hatches.

Broker's Comments
It's easy to see why the Hunter 410 has proven popular with cruisers, charter operators, and folks who live aboard.
This is a performance cruising model that is ideal for use by two cruising couples or a family. The spacious private double cabins at either end of the boat provide for privacy and convenience. The main cabin is wide and long with convertible berthing and ample space for seating a group. Fresh upholstery is installed throughout this vessel. A proper navigation station and chart table is aboard as well as a galley that's convenient for serving guests above and below deck.
Topsides the cockpit is well designed for a complement of eight guests with an uncluttered layout, spacious footwell area, high backrests and ample storage lockers. The helmsman sits behind a 44″ destroyer-type wheel mounted on a molded pedestal with navigational pod. This features a wet compass, the Raymarine navigation suite components and full engine instrumentation. This boat includes excellent canvas fabrications in a spray dodger, cockpit bimini, and an overhead connecting fabric between the two.
A recent surveyor stated: "This vessel appeared to be in generally good condition when compared to like vessels of a similar age. It shows signs of good general maintenance." Hunter Marine sailboats enjoy a reputation for innovation, quality, and good resale value.
