The fuel tanks are black iron with copper lines to a 40 gal. day tank. The fuel system is continually polished via a Racor in-line filter to the day tank. Since the system returns three gallons of fuel for every one gallon fuel burned the day tank fuel is continually polished. The additional advantage to using a day tank is that the fuel is gravity fed to the engine.
The hull is built of full length teak planks that are 1-3/8" thick attached to kiyake steam-bent frames. The stem, horn timber, keel and floors are of yacal timbers. The decks are teak over plywood and the cabin sides are solid teak planks. The cabin head linings are fiberglass over plywood.
Measurements and capacities are not independently verified by Waterline Boats / Boatshed and are reported from sellers' information and/or literature.

Comentario del broker
This seller says to "bring all offers, the time has come to sell this boat.
Presented here is a classic legendary offshore design by Bill Garden. This ketch was built of the finest materials available in its day by some of the most dedicated Taiwanese craftsmen at the C. C. Chen Boat Yard Ltd. Some of the noteworthy details are that the hull is built of solid teak planks that run the full length of the hull without the use of "butt blocks" the would otherwise join shorter planks, and the planking is attached with stainless steel screws and bolts.
In further details note the interior layout and the condition and cleanliness of the original interior. These owners were preparing for their dream offshore cruise and had completed the upgrades that they felt necessary and now a change of plans leads to this offering for sale.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
