Broker's Comments

The Formosa 41 is a well known bluewater cruising yacht, with a traditional long keel, ketch rig, attractive lines and hardwood finish throughout. Designed to manage long distance cruising in comfort, with good headroom, accommodation space, sailing performance and load carrying characteristics these boats offer a variety of sailing opportunities, including liveaboard and even charter opportunities.

This version has not been sailed for a number of years and whilst the owners have taken care to oversee some aspects of the boat's care, it has been listed as a project to reflect some of the key tasks that need to be undertaken, including attention to the engine. The masts and spars are in storage, alongwith the sails that are all in good condition.

With some investment of time and finance this is a great opportunity to bring this sophisticated yacht, back to it's formal glory. Please do contact the brokerage with any questions at all and to arrange a viewing.
