Boatshed Essex are pleased to present this Ernie Diamond 26ft Catamaran. These catamarans were designed and built to provide a solid, fast cruising platform, giving a longer cruising range, The owner comments: "every inch of the boat seems solid, very light and supposedly very fast too".
When I visited the boat, I was impressed by the space it provided and it was spacious and bright, with good headroom in the hulls.
The main saloon seating converts into a transverse double bunk, with two large singles in each hull plus a separate wet room style heads, with shower, and a separate galley, providing hot and cold water and hot air heating. Overall, the design provides exceptional space and comfort for a vessel of 26 feet.
The current owner has invested extensively into the boat and unfortunately has not had the time to finish. The boat requires some finishing to make it ready for the water.
This spacious catamaran could provide an excellent cruising platform or liveaboard, suited to those seeking plenty of accommodation at a great price and is especially suited for cruising with possibly a young family.
