Comentario del broker
This sturdy and extremely spacious, converted trawler is being sold as a coastal live aboard. Sailed over from Kilkeel in Northern Ireland back in 2011, she has since been the home and on going project of the current owner.
There are acres of space on this vessel. In front of the wheel house, there are two large covered and dry living areas down below, currently set up as a two floor (decked) flat. The top deck, the former working space, is completely covered by an aluminium roof and sides. It is spacious, has good head room and is currently used as a large open plan, custom made galley / kitchen and dining space. A double windlass, currently used as a decorative character piece, could be removed to provide more space if required.
In the middle of the galley / kitchen, is a solid handcrafted staircase leading down to deck below. It is hard to believe that this was a former fish hold. It has been meticulously cleaned, sanded right back, waxed and polished to provide a large, impressive oak ribbed living/sleeping area. It has a wood burning stove fitted to keep you warm on winters evenings.
Up forward of this, is a separate ensuite bathroom area. It has been cleaned and painted and there is a porcelain full sized bath, handbasin and toilet in situ ready for installation.
Other spaces to be developed include the wheelhouse with a small galley and a range of navigational equipment, most of which has been disconnected due to the vessels current use as a live aboard. Below this is the engine room with large Caterpillar engine and, aft of this, a 6 berth / bunk crew quarters and small lounge / saloon area.
Located in East Cornwall, close to Plymouth on the edge of a working boat yard, this vessel offers access to the beautiful coastal countryside and to Britain's Ocean City, said by some to be the happiest place to live in the UK. A project live aboard home by the sea to be used full time, part time or just holiday time.
