Broker's Comments

Boatshed Grand Union are delighted to offer this converted barge for sale with residential mooring and large garden in Uxbridge, West London.

Built in 1933 and originally a Leeds to Sheffield cargo barge, the boat is nearing completion of a full conversion to a stylish houseboat with easy access to central London. Inside, there is a large 825sq ft living area and kitchen as well as two cabins and stylish bathroom.

The barge is non-navigable and it has a prime spot at Packet Boat Marina with the biggest garden in this small community of boaters. Located 20 mins walk from West Drayton Station which gives great access into central London via Paddington.

The residential mooring may be transferable to the new owner for a fee of 20% of the sale price payable to BWML.
