Broker's Comments
As you board this Classic Cruiser & enter the cockpit the surrounding enclosure provides a nice retreat from the outside elements but still gives the sense of being out in the open. Endeavor Yacht Corp founded in 1977 by John Brooks and Rob Valdes in Largo, Florida.
Ted Irwin, who was then located in Tampa Bay, gave Brooks and Valdes the molds for his 1970 vintage Irwin 32. Endeavours in-house production and design person Dennis Robbins took the Irwin 32, modified it, and named it the Endeavour 32. Looking for boats along the Miami River, Brooks and Valdes found an old abandoned Dennis Creekmore design which Dennis also modified. The 34ft design was cut in half, they added three feet to the midsection, and created the Endeavour 37 of which 476 were sold. The current owner has enjoyed this E37 as a weekend live aboard. With it's favorable draft & comfortable beam the boat is ideally suited as a Coastal cruiser or for days sails, exploring & Gunk holing along the Gulf coast.
