Each winter has been spent ashore and the engines have been serviced, flushed and winterised.
The solar panels and ADVERC controlled 90A alternators coupled with a 300Ah AGM battery bank allow full use of the fridge, lights and pumps
Blocking diodes result in a self splitting charge system with no change over switches to worry about.
Just start either or both engines and all batteries are charged accordingly.
The ADVERC battery monitor allows checking of voltages and currents.

Broker's Comments

Designed by Bill O'Brian with safety, ease of handling and comfort in mind, he went on to prove the safety and reliability of the Oceanic 30 by sailing his own around the world without a hitch.

This example, which went through a 5 year period of total refurbishment, is a real gem. The refurb included having the engines completely overhauled, new electrics, electronics and plumbing fitted throughout, new standing rigging, sails and a great battery management system fitted.

Set up for single handed sailing, with an emphasis on safety, practicality and long term living aboard, this example has been sailed to the Scillies 3 times in one season and sailed solo in a force 8.

Her cockpit is well sheltered, the deck has a good quality non slip finish and is easy to move around. Equally at home on the open sea or shallow inlets, she is also easy to manoeuvre within the confines of marinas.

The interior feels more like a small two bedroomed flat than a boat. With two roomy double berths up forward in their own cabins, plenty of storage, a specious & comfortable saloon, a well equipped Nav station , a roomy and equally well equipped galley and a heads/shower room. This all comes with fantastic headroom and light throughout.

If you are looking a fully mobile & comfortable home on the water then look no further. This practical and seaworthy motorsailer has the feel of a far bigger vessel and, we believe, is great value for money.
