Broker's Comments
This fishing vessel has been tastefully converted into a superb home, where the current owner has lived for the past four years. The attention to detail is, as Wayne Rooney would say, "gobsmacking" and the boat has all the trappings of a contemporary home whilst retaining all the original features and character. The photos really don't do her justice and this boat is a 'must see' for anyone looking for a Central London houseboat.
But there's more. This boat has a fully working engine and is in A1 condition, electrically and mechanically. The current owner, a systems engineer, has brought all the boat's systems up to an extremely high standard, so she's as much a hardy cruiser as she is a liveaboard.
Whilst her current marina mooring in East London doesn't officially have residential status, the marina is tolerant of liveaboards and a great community exists there. And, with 2012 looming, this is about as close as you can get on a boat without competing in the sailing events.
